DIVISION DIRECTOR ALUMINIUM FLAT PRODUCTS

METALIMEX is one of the key players in the European metals trading market. In the Aluminium Flat Products division, we operate between the production of AL INVEST Břidličná and the most demanding European customers—where decisions are made about volumes, portfolios, and long-term contracts.
We are looking for a commercial leader who will take responsibility for the development and performance of the aluminium business—someone for whom volume, speed of decision-making, and quality are a natural standard.
What the role is about:
- Leading and developing the Aluminium Flat Products commercial division—sheets, strips, foils, specialty plates—with responsibility for volumes, margins, and portfolio structure
- Managing key relationships with European customers—long-term contracts, framework agreements, and strategic partnerships
- Close cooperation with AL INVEST Břidličná production—expanding the portfolio, new alloys, formats, and applications, aligning capacity, market needs, and commercial strategy
- Creating and executing the commercial strategy—pricing policy, export direction, priority markets
- Managing the commercial team and its performance
- Representing METALIMEX at key European forums (Aluminium Düsseldorf, Blechexpo Stuttgart, FachPack Nuremberg)
- Participating in investment and development projects—production modernization, energy efficiency, sustainability
Who we are looking for:
- A senior commercial leader with experience in aluminium, metal semi-finished products, or automotive
- A manager who understands both technical products and the dynamics of international trade
- A personality accustomed to owning results, not just processes
- A leader with international exposure and the ability to lead a team
- Fluent English is a must; additional languages are an advantage
