CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER MTX GROUP
We are looking for a strategic leader who will take shared responsibility for the direction of the group, billion-scale investments, and the execution of key growth initiatives.
MTX Group is an industrial group with an international presence, operating at the intersection of industry, energy, and trading. As part of our continued development, we are strengthening the strategic management of the group and are looking for a leader who will take responsibility for co-creating and executing strategy, driving growth initiatives, and allocating capital across the entire portfolio.
For this role, we are seeking an experienced partner for the group’s leadership—someone who can connect strategic thinking with execution, from defining direction to implementing concrete steps and delivering results.

In this role, you will:
- Set and continuously update the group’s strategy — take shared responsibility for strategic management and long-term development
- Identify new growth opportunities — including new projects, acquisitions, and investments
- Lead investments and acquisitions from initial contact through to integration
- Translate strategy into concrete initiatives and oversee their execution
- Monitor impact and manage overall group performance — through KPIs, reporting, and tracking target fulfillment
- Work closely with MTX Group leadership on key decisions
- Prepare materials for strategic decision-making
- Connect companies within the group where it creates value
Who we are looking for:
- A senior leader with experience in strategic management, M&A, or corporate development
- A candidate with a proven track record in executing transactions — experience leading strategic initiatives or business units in acquisitions and their integration is essential
- Someone who can work effectively with both numbers and people
- A personality with strong follow-through and execution capabilities
- A natural authority with the ability to navigate complex environments
- Professional proficiency in Czech and English
